We are using our experiences for clients who just bought or charted a ship. We have the experience to help you start up with all required ISM, ISPS, International, and local requirements. As well as controlling and improving the general status of the vessels and training new crew. Also for shipyards, we are doing sea trails and delivery, taking out “child diseases” and providing them with feedback about construction, operational errors and improvements

CLASS CERTIFICATION

We assist with class certification in moments like reactivation, when many or most certificates have expired; re-issuing of certificates when a vessel has seen a change of flag, or even a change of class.

ISM / ISPS / MLC

Vessels over 500 GT are subject to separate procedures such as ISM, ISPS and MLC. ASM is MLC certified as crew supplier. We can assist with the initial setup of these special procedures in cooperation with our classification society Lloyds register. We have several flag-related DOC’s

PORT CLEARING & CANAL TRANSITS

All activities related to preparing a vessel in port of departure, or arriving in the port of destination as well as bunker or repair ports en-route are managed by AMS. This also includes passages of Suez or Panama canal. We pick the best and most cost-effective support, also in selection of fuel bunker providers and stores/provisions for the voyage.

FLAG STATE REGISTRATION

Most ship deliveries require a registration in a different flag register in order to be able to conduct that voyage. We organise the complete registration process in case of newbuilds – or a change of registration, in case of existing tonnage. We take care of MSM application, exemptions and have the applicable Documents of Compliance in case of a vessel over 500 GT must conform to ISM/ISPS/MLC
